Freelance Creative Copywriter
Responsibilities:
- Gain a full understanding of client needs, products, and target audience through research
- Interpret client and internal agency briefs into campaigns or creative concepts that connect with the target audience and drive action
- Study and utilize data insights to develop strategic, results driven creative campaigns
- Develop creative strategies and identify strong creative routes to guide ideation
- Brainstorm and conceptualize big ideas, then translate them into integrated campaigns across various platforms
- Write original, clear, and persuasive copy in different tones, voices, and styles suited to the audience
- Create compelling content for digital channels such as websites, social media, email, ads, blogs, and product messaging
- Collaborate with the agency team from concept development to delivery and implementation
- Play a key role in client pitches by presenting concepts effectively during internal reviews and client meetings
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of professional copywriting experience with a strong portfolio
- Preferred background: Tech company experience or similar industry exposure
- Strong understanding of brand voice, audience targeting, and conversion focused writing
- Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Social media, content marketing, or digital campaign experience is a plus
- A keen eye for detail and appreciation for great design
- Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently
