Job Description

The position is primarily responsible for assisting the Fraud Management Department Head in implementing the Company anti-fraud strategies which includes prevention, detection and mitigation of fraud incidents as well as validating the effectiveness of internal controls. The position is also responsible for monitoring select business transactions for suspicious patterns.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Conducts regular Fraud Risk Assessments for all products and services and reviews the effectiveness of existing Fraud Risk Controls, providing recommendations for enhancement when necessary.
  • Monitors business transactions to identify unusual patterns and suspicious activities, including the detection and blocking of suspicious transactions through the Fraud Management System.
  • Assists in investigating and resolving suspected or reported fraud incidents, including conducting branch visits when necessary.
  • Gathers, reviews, and consolidates relevant evidence and information for fraud investigations and whistleblowing disclosures.
  • Assists in the development and facilitation of fraud awareness and fraud detection training materials and programs for employees.
  • Assists the Fraud Management Department Head in implementing and strengthening the Company's anti-fraud strategies, including the prevention, detection, investigation, and mitigation of fraud incidents.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any four (4) year course preferably Business, Finance, or Information Technology.
  • At least three (3) years of work-related experience with in-depth knowledge of enterprise risk management, in the specific context of Philippine financial institutions.
  • Knowledgeable in fraud management, fraud prevention, and fraud detection rule setup.
  • Willing to work in Makati
