City Savings Bank is seeking a competent and highly analytical professional to join our Risk Management team as a Fraud Management Officer. The role is responsible for strengthening the Bank's fraud prevention framework by proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating fraud risks across all products and delivery channels.
This position plays a critical role in safeguarding the Bank's assets, protecting customers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct real-time and post-transaction fraud monitoring across banking systems and channels.
- Investigate suspicious transactions and escalate confirmed fraud cases in accordance with established protocols.
- Perform root cause analysis on fraud incidents and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, IT, Legal, and Branch Banking teams in resolving fraud-related cases.
- Assist in the enhancement of fraud detection tools, parameters, and controls.
- Prepare detailed case documentation, management reports, and trend analysis.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements related to fraud risk management.
- Support fraud awareness initiatives and training programs within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 24 years of experience in fraud risk management, financial crime investigation, or banking operations.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with keen attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of fraud monitoring systems and banking processes.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of data analytics tools is an advantage.
