One of the largest industrial gases companies in the Philippines is looking for a FP&A Manager to strengthen their team in Pasig City!
Job Purpose
The FP&A Manager is responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making. The role ensures accurate P&L management, cost control, and financial transparency across business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making.
- Analyze monthly financial performance vs. budget, forecast, and prior year.
P&L Management
- Own full Profit & Loss analysis for assigned business units.
- Identify key revenue and cost drivers affecting profitability.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve margins and financial performance.
Cost Control & Efficiency
- Monitor operating expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Partner with operations and commercial teams to enforce cost discipline.
- Track headcount, overheads, and project spending against approved budgets.
Reporting & Business Support
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial dashboards
- Present financial insights to senior management and stakeholders
- Support business cases, pricing analysis, and investment evaluations
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Improve FP&A processes, tools, and reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and accounting standards
- Support internal and external audits as required
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or management accounting
- Strong background in P&L management and cost control
- Experience in multinational or industrial/manufacturing environments preferred (e.g., gas, energy, FMCG, or chemicals)
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau is an advantage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong business acumen
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
