Job Description

Job Summary:

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The role supports the FP&A team and the Senior Director of FP&A in providing accurate insights, driving process improvements, and ensuring operational excellence. Key responsibilities include annual planning, quarterly forecasting, monthly variance analysis, and executive reporting.

Job Description:

• Partners with business leaders to develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.

• Prepares and delivers monthly management reporting packages, including financial summaries, KPIs, and variance analysis.

• Provides financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.

• Builds and maintains financial models to evaluate business performance, investments, and initiatives.

• Improves reporting processes and analytical tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.

• Conducts scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to assess risks and opportunities.

• Collaborates with Accounting during monthly and quarterly close to ensure accuracy in reporting and reconciliations.

• Supports executive presentations with data-driven insights and recommendations.

• Assists with ad-hoc analysis, strategic projects, and performance metrics across departments.

• Develops dashboards and reporting tools to increase visibility into financial and operational performance.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

• Applies analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

• Maintains high attention to detail, organizes tasks effectively, and manages multiple priorities.

• Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and present financial insights to senior leaders.

Screening Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related financial role.

• Must have stable employment history.
