About Klujo

Klujo is a Canadian startup building the future of customer engagement in Southeast Asia. We combine addictive word games with real-world rewards, helping brands connect with customers between transactions. We're launching first in the Philippinesthe world's most engaged mobile gaming market.

We're backed by an experienced Canadian tech entrepreneur and are now building our founding team in the Philippines.

The Opportunity:

As ourfirst Philippines hire, you'll be the architect of our market entry strategy. This isn't just a jobit's a chance to build something from zero to millions of users. You'll have full autonomy to build your team, define our Philippine strategy, and shape the future of gamified loyalty in Southeast Asia.

What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership (30%)
  • Develop and execute the Philippines B2C2B go-to-market strategy
  • Build and manage the Philippine P&L (we'll teach you if needed)
  • Set quarterly OKRs and lead the team to hit aggressive growth targets
  • Report directly to Canadian founder with strategic insights and recommendations

Team Building & Leadership (30%)
  • Hire and lead our initial Philippine team (Community, Content, Marketing, Support)
  • Create and nurture Klujo's culture in the Philippines
  • Mentor and develop team members as we scale
  • Be the face of Klujo in the Philippine business community

Partnership & Business Development (25%)
  • Secure brand partnerships with leading Philippine companies (telcos, retail, F&B)
  • Negotiate with payment providers (GCash, Maya, etc.)
  • Build relationships with influencer networks, agencies, and media
  • Attend industry events to establish Klujo's presence

Market Intelligence & Localization (15%)
  • Ensure all game content resonates with Filipino culture
  • Identify emerging trends in Philippine gaming and social media
  • Adapt global best practices for the local market
  • Make real-time decisions to navigate cultural nuances

What We're Looking For:
Must Haves:
  • Deep understanding of Filipino gaming culture- You're an active mobile gamer
  • Proven entrepreneurial mindset- You've started something from scratch
  • Strategic thinker- You see the big picture and can create plans to get there
  • Exceptional networker- You know how to build relationships across different circles
  • Fluent in English and Filipino- Perfect written and spoken communication in both

Nice to Haves:
  • Experience in gaming, loyalty programs, or mobile apps
  • Existing relationships with Philippine brands or influencers
  • Understanding of virtual economies or gamification
  • Experience working with international teams

What We Offer:

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary:80,000 - 120,000 per month (based on experience)
  • Equity:1-3% ownership (4-year vesting, 1-year cliff)
  • Performance Bonus:Up to 20% of annual salary
