About Surogate

Surogate helps people and businesses multiply themselves with autonomous AI agents that run in the cloud. A Surogate agent can work 24/7, monitor workflows, prepare deliverables, connect to tools, report back, and be used internally or sold to customers.

The platform is built for both operators and builders: users can run agents, review sessions, attach skills and knowledge bases, publish agents to channels, and monetize them; builders can go deeper with skills, MCP servers, custom models, evaluations, fine-tuning, and cloud/GPU infrastructure.

We are looking for someone who can turn this into revenue through partnerships, channel relationships, and online sales.

The Role

We need a commercially driven person who can build partnerships and drive online sales for Surogate.

This role sits between business development, partnerships, channel sales, and digital revenue growth. You will identify the right partners, open conversations, structure deals, drive affiliate/channel programs, sell to early customers, and create repeatable online sales motions.

The ideal person is comfortable selling a new category: autonomous AI agents that freelancers, agencies, consultants, creators, developers, and businesses can use for themselves or package and resell to their clients.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage partnerships with agencies, consultants, freelancers, creators, AI communities, software vendors, startup networks, educational communities, and service providers.
  • Create sales opportunities with businesses that can use Surogate agents for customer support, sales qualification, booking, recruitment, research, operations, e-commerce, and workflow automation.
  • Develop channel and reseller partnerships where partners can build Surogate agents for clients and charge recurring monthly fees. Surogate's site already positions agent monetization as a core use case: build once, deploy to multiple businesses, and earn monthly income.
  • Drive online sales through outbound campaigns, webinars, demos, affiliate campaigns, partner landing pages, email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, marketplace listings, and community-led selling.
  • Own the pipeline from prospecting to first call, demo, follow-up, closing, onboarding handoff, and expansion.
  • Create partnership packages: referral partner, affiliate partner, implementation partner, agency partner, reseller, creator partner, and strategic technology partner.
  • Work with marketing to create sales assets: pitch decks, use-case pages, partner one-pagers, demo scripts, ROI calculators, case studies, email templates, and webinar content.
  • Work with product to identify what buyers and partners need in order to sell Surogate successfully.
  • Track and report commercial metrics: leads generated, partner conversations, qualified opportunities, demos booked, conversion rate, monthly recurring revenue, partner revenue, churn risk, and expansion opportunities.

What Success Looks Like

  1. In the first 30 days, you understand the product, identify the strongest commercial segments, create the initial partner list, launch outreach, and book the first demos.
  2. In the first 60 days, you have active partner conversations, repeatable outreach sequences, a basic partner program, and early online sales or qualified opportunities.
  3. In the first 90 days, you have closed initial partnerships or customers, proven at least one scalable sales channel, and created a clear revenue pipeline.

You Might Be a Fit If

  • You have experience in partnerships, business development, online sales, channel sales, affiliate programs, SaaS sales, or startup growth.
  • You are comfortable selling early-stage products where the playbook is not fully written yet.
  • You can explain AI agents in simple business language without sounding too technical.
  • You know how to find prospects, write compelling outreach, run demos, follow up, negotiate, and close.
  • You understand how agencies, consultants, creators, and freelancers make money.
  • You are comfortable with CRM tools, outbound tools, email campaigns, LinkedIn, webinars, landing pages, and online sales funnels.
  • You are persistent, organized, commercial, and good at turning conversations into revenue.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling AI, SaaS, automation, developer tools, no-code tools, or B2B software.
  • Experience building reseller, affiliate, or agency partner programs.
  • Experience selling to SMBs, consultants, agencies, creators, or technical founders.
  • Experience with automation tools like HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, Instantly, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Stripe, Notion, Airtable, Zapier, Make, or similar.
  • Experience creating commercial assets such as pitch decks, sales pages, partner offers, demo videos, or outbound campaigns.
