Role Overview
JSTERP is expanding in the Philippines, and we are looking for a Forward Deployed Product Engineer to join our local team.
This is not a traditional product trainer role. You will not only train people on how to use the system, but also work closely with customers, implementation teams, and product developers to identify real business problems, break them down into clear requirements, build prototypes, support product rollout, and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
You will be the bridge between the frontline market and our product development team.
What You'll Do
- Train new employees, implementation consultants, sales teams, and customers on JSTERP's product modules, workflows, and business scenarios.
- Deeply participate in implementation projects, including requirement clarification, workflow design, system testing, user training, and go-live support.
- Work directly with customers to understand their pain points, business processes, and operational challenges.
- Break down vague customer feedback into structured product requirements, user stories, process flows, and solution documents.
- Use AI tools, vibe coding, no-code/low-code platforms, or simple prototypes to quickly validate ideas and demonstrate possible solutions.
- Coordinate with the China product and development teams to communicate local market requirements, follow up on development progress, and support product launch.
- Collect feedback after product updates or project go-live, and help improve the product based on real user scenarios.
- Create training materials, product guides, SOPs, demo scripts, and internal enablement documents.
- Support sales, implementation, and customer success teams with product knowledge and solution design.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent in English, with strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Experience in SaaS, ERP, e-commerce, product implementation, solution consulting, customer success, or product operations.
- Strong ability to understand business processes and translate customer needs into structured product requirements.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Able to think logically, break down complex problems, and push things forward from idea to execution.
- Familiar with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Notion AI, or similar tools.
- Interested in vibe coding, AI-assisted prototyping, workflow automation, no-code/low-code tools, or rapid solution design.
- Strong ownership, fast learning ability, and willingness to work closely with frontline customers.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Shopify, Facebook, Instagram, or social commerce is a strong plus.
- Chinese language ability is a plus, but not required.
