FORWARD DEPLOYED ENGINEER – AI & AUTOMATION

About The Role
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with strong experience in Artificial Intelligence, automation, and software development to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions for real-world business operations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can understand business challenges, translate them into technical solutions, and rapidly develop AI applications, automated workflows, integrations, and internal tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify business processes that can be improved through AI and automation.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, agents, and automated workflows.
- Integrate LLMs, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms into business systems.
- Develop automation solutions using Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Build and test prototypes and Proof-of-Concept (POC) solutions rapidly.
- Connect AI solutions with existing business applications and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and optimize AI applications, APIs, integrations, and automation processes.
- Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Continuously evaluate new AI tools, models, frameworks, and automation technologies.
- Document solutions, workflows, integrations, and implementation procedures.
- Collaborate with developers, operations, and management to successfully deploy solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in software development, AI engineering, automation, solutions engineering, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience developing applications using Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.
- Experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and system integrations.
- Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, prompt engineering, or tool/function calling is a strong advantage.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, Git, Docker, or CI/CD is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and quickly learn new technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
