Forward Deployed Engineer - Backend / Platform-Alabang

Role Summary

Build the ingestion and service layer of business requirements - converting the DRP workbook and master plan into structured, machine-readable task objects and exposing them through well-designed service APIs consumed by the orchestration engine and reporting layer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop DRP ingestion and automation: parse the DRP workbook and master plan into structured task objects.
• Implement and maintain the task data model and the service APIs that surface it to orchestration, validation and reporting components.
• Build component- and application-level grouping logic with dependency mapping (DB, Windows, Linux, storage and app tiers).
• Implement validation and checkout services for on-prem and Azure workloads - DNS, database, app server and connectivity signals.
• Containerize and deploy services to ARO; manage schema and migrations on managed PostgreSQL.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in sprint demos and UAT defect resolution

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong backend development in Python (preferred) and/or .NET/Java, with clean REST API design.
• Practical experience parsing and normalizing structured/semi-structured sources (Excel workbooks, CSV, JSON, YAML).
• Relational database skills - PostgreSQL schema design, indexing and query tuning.
• Containerization with Docker and deployment to Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Git-based workflow with CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Comfortable working directly with SMEs and business stakeholders to clarify requirements in-flight.
