JOB SUMMARY
The Formwork QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of company equipment and steel fabrication activities through inspections, testing, and quality control processes. The role oversees warehouse-based equipment inspection, testing, returns, and fabrication activities while coordinating with internal teams to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be a Licensed Engineer (PRC License required).
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, equipment inspection, steel fabrication, construction, or formwork and falsework.
- Knowledge and experience in steel fabrication, including fabrication processes, welding, dimensional inspection, and quality control.
- Experience in material and equipment testing, including preparation of test requirements, coordination of testing, monitoring of test procedures, and evaluation of test results.
- Knowledge of formwork and falsework systems, equipment, materials, and fabrication processes is an advantage.
- Experience in equipment inspection, damage assessment, material testing, and quality control is preferred.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail in identifying defects and quality issues.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection methods, welding quality, and applicable engineering and safety standards.
- Good documentation, reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
- Willing to work primarily at the Santo Tomas warehouse and supervise equipment inspection, testing, returns, and steel fabrication activities.
- Ability to coordinate with Design, Sales, Warehouse, and Fabrication teams and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to maintaining the quality, reliability, and safety of company equipment.
