Key Duties:
The Service Engineer forBYD Material Handling Equipment is responsible to provide timely and proper technical service support to Rieckermann Philippines customers. This includes installations, reinstallations, troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventive maintenance for material handling equipment.
- Technical Service - Provide installation and commissioning according to plans; maintenance and troubleshoot remotely and/or on-site; and repair of material handling equipment and solutions for customers
- Service Administration - Ensure accurate and timely execution concerning operations and services including warranties, spare parts and inventory monitoring
- Reporting - Ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting concerning operations and services
- Spare Parts - Provide expert recommendations on spare parts to customers, enhancing their overall satisfaction and experience
- Safety & Compliance - Ensure a health and safety compliance working environment
- Customer Relationship - Foster strong customer relationship through exceptional service and communication
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in technical and field servicing, with focus on forklift
- Bachelor's degree in technical subjects, or equivalent
- Skilled in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; adept at interpreting wiring diagrams and service manuals
- Basic welding/fabrication skills are an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and digitally savvy
- Demonstrate goal-oriented, dynamic, and high-responsibility attributes with effective planning, analytical, and implementation skills
- Excels both under pressure and when working independently, while maintaining strong team spirit and disciplined work habits
- Readiness to travel frequently on-site, and on short notice
- Has valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
