We are currently looking for a Food Solutions Excellence Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for a dynamic, results-driven leader with deep experience in B2B sales, sales operations, and cross-functional project management.
Position Overview:
The Food Solutions Excellence Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales and business operations by developing and executing strategies for capability building, route-to-market (RTM) optimization, and performance enhancement. You will work cross-functionally to ensure alignment across all sales initiatives, continuously improve our sales processes, and drive successful innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Capability Building
- Design and implement learning and development strategies to elevate the performance of our B2B salesforce and partners.
- Conduct competency assessments and develop tailored development plans, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
- Create and facilitate sales training and onboarding programs to boost skill acquisition for new and existing sales personnel.
- Monitor and measure the impact of training programs through dashboards and field audits to enhance sales behaviors and outcomes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate technical and channel-specific skills into training programs.
Sales Process Improvement & Performance Standards
- Establish and update sales standards and core processes to drive high performance and consistent execution.
- Identify inefficiencies within sales systems and workflows, recommending improvements.
- Align customer-facing processes and backend systems with the sales team's needs to optimize operations.
- Define key sales competencies and performance metrics for internal teams and distributors.
- Lead process design and improvement initiatives as the sales subject matter expert.
Strategic Projects & Innovation Execution
- Lead and manage strategic projects, ensuring the successful delivery of B2B commercial priorities.
- Pilot new solutions, tools, methods, and technologies, ensuring scalability and business impact.
- Provide expertise to cross-functional teams, ensuring commercial viability and alignment with sales realities.
People Management
- Guide and coach direct reports to ensure effective execution of responsibilities and achievement of performance targets.
- Oversee performance management processes, conducting regular reviews and identifying growth opportunities.
- Support team members development plans and career growth within the organization.
- Lead recruitment and selection of team members, ensuring a strong and capable workforce.
- Develop future leaders by identifying talent, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of high performance.
Qualifications:
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in B2B sales, sales operations, and sales enablement.
- Proven track record in cross-functional project management and designing capability-building programs.
- Deep knowledge of B2B sales models, customer segmentation, and buyer journeys.
