Job Description

The Food Service (Area Sales) Supervisor leads the growth, management, and development of the foodservice segment. The role creates and executes strategic plans to expand the company's presence in foodservice markets, builds and nurtures relationships with key clients (hotels, QSRs, fine‑dining restaurants, buffets, cafés/bistros, and government institutions), and provides sales leadership, coaching, market analysis, product development, and operational oversight to achieve the channel's revenue and volume targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the volume and revenue objectives of the foodservice channel in Greater Manila Area.
  • Monitor sales performance, set targets, define KPIs, and produce regular growth-metric reports.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies to grow the foodservice footprint in North and South Luzon.
  • Pursue new opportunities across traditional foodservice segments and non-traditional accounts such as government institutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, GMs, head chefs, procurement heads, and other decision-makers; conduct ideation workshops and joint-business planning sessions.
  • Increase share among existing customers through upselling, cross-selling, and tailored service offerings.
  • Work with the Marketing team to design and launch promotional campaigns targeted at Luzon foodservice customers.
  • Partner with Product Development to create menu-specific applications, new product concepts, and customized solutions.
  • Formulate pricing programs that improve market penetration while protecting margin against competition.
  • Analyze trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats specific to Luzon and the public-sector market.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and manage the sales team (including the Foodservice Consultant) to achieve targets and develop talent.
  • Actively participate in foodservice industry associations, trade shows, and government procurement forums.
  • Prepare and present periodic performance reports, sales forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure foodservice objectives are fully aligned with overall company strategy and financial targets.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Channel Head or management.

QUALIFICATION GUIDES

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism/Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Culinary, Business Management, Marketing, or any related field.
  • Experience in sales, account management, or business development within the food, hospitality, or related industries. / With experience in leading a sales team and handling major foodservice accounts. / Demonstrated success in building partnerships and achieving sales targets in the foodservice sector.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Pleasing and professional personality with the ability to represent the company with confidence and integrity.
  • Demonstrates professionalism in appearance, observing proper grooming and attire suited to every occasion.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze trends, set direction, and deliver business growth.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with strong organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to personal growth, continuous improvement, and excellence in customer service.
