Job Description

What are the Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor plant-wide compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitation standards, covering employees, production areas, equipment, warehouses, and company grounds.
  • Implement and maintain sanitation controls to prevent product contamination and uphold food safety standards.
  • Assist in conducting plant sanitation inspections in alignment with HACCP requirements.
  • Coordinate with plant teams to identify unsatisfactory conditions and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Support in addressing potential food safety hazards as directed by the immediate superior.
  • Determine and maintain proper dilution of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals to ensure effective and safe usage.
  • Collect samples of potential contaminants for microbiological analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports on GMP observations, audit summaries, 5S ratings, violations, swab test results, incident reports, and monthly inventory/expenditures for sanitation materials.
  • Report violations and food safety concerns to the Section Lead in a timely manner.

This could be for you if have:

  • Graduate of any four-year course; candidates with degrees related to Food Technology, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields are preferred.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience, preferably in food manufacturing, quality assurance, sanitation, or food safety operations.
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards, GMP, HACCP principles, and basic microbiological sampling.
  • Ability to identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Competence in documentation, compliance checks, and inspection procedures.
