Your Role as Floor Plan Artist
As a
Floor Plan Artist, you'll transform rough drafts and sketches into polished, professional floor plans. Beyond technical drafting, you'll contribute to workflow improvements, collaborate with the team, and help maintain consistency and best practices across projects. Accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork are at the core of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Floor Plan Production & Accuracy
- Recreate architectural floor plans and site plans from sketches, drawings, or reference materials
- Follow established templates, measurements, and layout instructions
- Ensure floor plans are visually clear, accurate, and aligned with company standards
- Deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines
Quality Compliance
- Follow internal guidelines and quality checklists when producing floor plans
- Apply feedback from supervisors and QA reviewers to improve outputs
- Ensure plans meet company standards before final review
Task & Workflow Management- Organize and complete assigned tasks based on daily priorities set by the team lead
- Maintain accurate tracking of assigned work and update progress as required
- Seek clarification when instructions are unclear to ensure correct execution
Learning & Team Collaboration
- Participate in training sessions and mentorship opportunities
- Collaborate with team members by sharing updates and seeking feedback
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment
AI Readiness & Digital Enablement
- Maintain baseline AI literacy relevant to your role
- Use approved AI tools responsibly and in compliance with company policies
- Participate in AI readiness training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities for workflow improvements through digital tools
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Fine Arts, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in floor plan drawing, CAD design, or real estate marketing (preferred)
- Experience working with architectural drawings and visual design tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or similar floor plan software
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings and spatial layouts
- Ability to convert sketches into clean, accurate floor plans
- Familiarity with 2D rendering techniques
- Knowledge of Photoshop (basic touch-ups)
- Experience using Google Sheets and Notion
