Job Description

Maestro · Remote Philippines-based) · Full-time

Maestro is a premium, tech-enabled travel concierge headquartered in Austin, Texas, that blends intelligent automation with expert human judgment. We turn client preferences and loyalty points into end-to-end luxury travel, securing lie-flat flights, design-forward hotels, curated experiences, and real-time concierge support. Every trip is crafted with precision, personalisation, and operational excellence.

We're looking for a Flights Ops Specialist based in the Philippines to join our Flights Team. You'll serve as a trusted partner to high-net-worth international clients, translating their preferences into flawlessly executed travel and delivering support that feels effortless from their side. This role works within an AI-assisted workflow, so comfort with technology and a curiosity for how AI tools can enhance your work is important.

Key Responsibilities — Flights Team

  1. Flight Research & Options Sourcing Research and present flight options based on client travel requests — including routes, cabin classes (Economy, Business, Premium Economy), carriers, and layover considerations.
  2. Points & Award Booking Strategy Advise clients on the best way to use their credit card points (Amex, Chase, Capital One) for flight redemptions. This includes identifying transferable airline partners, evaluating CPP (Cents Per Point), and recommending when to book with points vs. cash.
  3. Client Communication & Follow-Up Draft and send clear, professional client-facing messages — presenting flight options, confirming bookings, circling back on pending requests, and attaching confirmations to itineraries.
  4. Cabin Class Recommendations Guide clients on the right cabin based on route type (e.g., cash for long-haul business class lie-flat, economy cash for intra-European short hops, points for high-value international redemptions).
  5. Transfer Partner Guidance Advise which credit card points to transfer to which airline loyalty program for award bookings (e.g., Amex → Virgin Atlantic, Chase → United, Amex/Chase → Air France Flying Blue).
  6. Availability Monitoring & Refreshing Re-surface and refresh flight options when availability changes, and communicate urgency to clients when limited seats remain

7. Multi-Passenger Coordination Handle flight requests for groups or multiple travelers, noting passenger count limitations per option.

8. New Hire Training & Knowledge Building Support onboarding through assessments covering credit card partners, airline alliances, CPP computation, and practical tools.

Essential Background

  1. Points & Miles Knowledge Solid understanding of major credit card rewards programs — Amex Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Capital One. Must know how transferable points work and which airline partners they connect to.

2. Airline Alliance Familiarity Working knowledge of Star Alliance, SkyTeam, and Oneworld — including which airlines belong to each and how award bookings work across alliances.

3. Award Booking Fundamentals Ability to identify and evaluate award space, understand CPP (Cents Per Point), and distinguish when points redemption is better than cash booking.

4. Strong Written Communication Must be able to draft clear, professional, and warm client-facing messages — presenting options, following up, and explaining complex topics in simple terms.

5. Attention to Detail Accuracy in routes, dates, passenger counts, layovers, and pricing is non-negotiable when presenting flight options to clients.

6. Client Service Orientation Comfortable managing client expectations, responding promptly, and proactively following up on open requests.

Preferred Background

1. Experience with Award Booking Tools Hands-on familiarity with tools and platforms for searching award availability across airlines.

2. Travel Industry or Concierge Experience Prior work in travel agencies, luxury concierge services, airlines, or hospitality is a strong plus.

3. Personal Points Hobbyist Candidates who actively manage their own points and miles tend to bring genuine enthusiasm and deeper intuition to the role.

4. Multi-Airline Loyalty Program Knowledge Familiarity with specific programs like Delta SkyMiles, United MileagePlus, Air Canada Aeroplan, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, and Air France Flying Blue.

5. Experience Handling High-Touch Clients Background working with premium or demanding clients who expect fast, accurate, and personalized service.

6. Comfort with Fast-Changing Information Flight availability and pricing shift constantly — candidates who can work with urgency and adapt quickly are preferred.
