Location: Philippines - Ortigas

Schedule: Morning Shift

Job Description

This is a Work From Office role assigned in Ortigas with a plan to transition to Hybrid after 6 months

The role of the Airfares and Ticketing Consultant involves working as a proactive member of the Fares Desk. The primary responsibilities include ensuring all ticketing-related functions, queue monitoring, PNR actioning, and both internal and external communications are completed in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Airline fares and ticketing Domestic and International

  • Perform all ticketing functions efficiently while maintaining a minimal error ratio.
  • Execute fare quotes and reassessments within prescribed time frames and communicate results to internal stakeholders.
  • Process and action airline refunds, EMDs, and reissues, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Communicating with stakeholders internal and external

  • Liaise with airline partners promptly and professionally to seek inquiries, resolutions, waivers, or favors.
  • Provide excellent, friendly, and proactive customer service in line with company values to internal stakeholders when addressing challenging and time-sensitive issues.
  • Communicate necessary requirements from airline queues to respective teams in a timely manner.

Administration

  • Ensure all records and files are updated accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensue all reconciliation processes are in line with company policy and procedure.

Qualification And Requirements (Non-negotiable)

  • Experience in fares and ticketing - mandatory
  • GDS input / output
  • MS Office
  • IATA Airline and City Codes
  • Fares and Ticketing 1 & 2 accreditation
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high quality work while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying challenges and needs and their probable causes; providing insights to decision makers to investigate new solutions and approaches to achieve better long term results.
  • Continuous Learning: Actively identifying new areas for learning; regularly creating and taking advantage of learning opportunities and applying that knowledge to their role.
  • Adaptability: Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibility or environment (e.g. people, processes, structure or culture)
