The position is primarily responsible for overseeing the regular maintenance and administration of all company assigned vehicles and fixed assets. The position is also responsible for ensuring that transportation service is available at all times and all vehicle registration and insurance are timely renewed.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair schedules of all company vehicles and fixed assets.
- Ensure that all vehicles are in safe, reliable, and roadworthy condition at all times.
- Supervise and coordinate with internal mechanics, service providers, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance activities.
- Monitor vehicle performance, usage, and fuel consumption to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvement.
- Administer and ensure timely renewal of vehicle registration, insurance, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, insurance, registration, and other fleet-related documentation.
- Implement and monitor fleet policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and government regulations.
- Manage and oversee drivers schedules, assignments, and compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
- Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, costs, and utilization for management review.
- Recommend process improvements, new technologies, and best practices in fleet operations and maintenance management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- Preferably holds a valid Professional Driver's License.
- At least three (3) years of experience in fixed asset administration and general fleet management.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Knowledgeable in asset tagging and tracking systems.
- Proficient in general fleet management practices.
- Willing to work in Makati and Alabang
