JOB SUMMARY
The Fleet Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, and efficiency of Meralco's fleet. The role ensures optimal fleet utilization, operational reliability, and data-driven decision-making through the development of dashboards and analytics, while maintaining high service and operational standards.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Fleet Operations Management
- Oversees day-to-day fleet operations, ensuring availability, utilization, and operational efficiency of EV assets.
- Monitors fleet performance, including vehicle uptime, usage, and operational issues.
- Ensure smooth coordination of dispatch, routing, scheduling, and fleet deployment.
- Implements operational procedures to improve service efficiency and reliability.
Performance Monitoring & Analytics
- Consolidates, analyzes, and interprets fleet operational data to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develops and maintains dashboards and reports on fleet performance, utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Identifies trends, gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement using data insights.
- Provides regular reports and actionable insights to management and stakeholders.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Identifies inefficiencies in fleet operations and implement process improvements.
- Develops and standardizes workflows, policies, and operational procedures.
- Drives initiatives to optimize costs, improve service delivery, and increase productivity.
- Supports digitalization and automation of fleet management processes.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinates with internal teams (maintenance, charging infrastructure, logistics, and operations).
- Works closely with vendors, service providers, and external partners to ensure operational continuity.
- Ensures alignment between fleet operations and overall EV mobility service objectives.
Compliance & Safety Management
- Ensures fleet operations comply with regulatory, safety, and company standards.
- Monitors adherence to operational safety protocols and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Supports implementation of health, safety, and environmental practices.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintains accurate operational records and documentation.
- Prepares periodic operational and performance reports for management review.
- Ensures data integrity and proper documentation of fleet operations activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in fleet management, logistics, transportation, or operations management
- Experience in fleet-based or mobility services operations is an advantage
- Exposure to EV fleet operations or emerging mobility solutions is a plus
