Role Summary:
The Fixed Income / Structured Solutions Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing discretionary and advisory fixed income mandates, as well as designing bespoke investment strategies based on desired client outcomes. The role requires deep expertise in fixed income markets, structured solutions, and treasury products to deliver tailored investment outcomes aligned with client objectives, risk parameters, and regulatory requirements.
What Business Outcomes the Role is Responsible for:
- Lead FI Mandates & Bespoke Strategies:Design and implement customized fixed income strategies, including ALM strategies, active portfolio strategies, and liquidity-oriented portfolios, ensuring alignment with client objectives, investment guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Active Portfolio Management:Implement top-down and bottom-up fixed income views across macro, curve, credit, and liquidity factors to optimize portfolio positioning. Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and performance/risk attribution, while supporting pricing, valuation, and structuring across outright derivative strategies, asset swaps, and structured notes.
- Deliver Client-Facing Insights & Education:Produce high-quality investment outlooks and client materials, support briefings and webinars, and deliver educational content to strengthen client understanding and confidence. Ensure outputs are clear, compliant, and actionable.
What we're looking for in a successful candidate:
- Relevant Experience: Demonstrated ability to deliver strong portfolio outcomes and structured solutions, supported by experience in asset management, treasury, and/or the insurance sector.
- Comprehensive Technical Knowledge:Applies advanced expertise in fixed income instruments, ALM/cashflow modeling, and structured products to optimize portfolio positioning and risk management.
- Educational Background:Strong academic foundation in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related fields; CFA and/or FRM designation is a plus.
