About The Role
The
Fixed Income Specialist is responsible for executing and managing fixed income transactions, delivering market insights and investment opportunities, and supporting the development and governance of fixed income products. The role ensures regulatory compliance, maintains relationships with counterparties, and contributes to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and client experience within the Wealth Management business.
What You'll Do
- Ensure seamless execution, booking and reporting of fixed income brokerage transactions with strict compliance to external regulation and internal processes and guidelines.
- Remain abreast of fixed income market intelligence, investment strategy and research to deliver actionable trade ideas and investment opportunities to the Sales team.
- Ensure good working relationships with counterparties and work with the Risk officer to ensure that limits for each counterpart are updated and suitable.
- Responsible for submission of due diligence requirements of existing and new Fixed Income counterparties.
- Supports the Fixed Income Product Manager for launching of new fixed income product categories and end-to-end onboarding of new Fixed Income securities and counterparties.
- Leads the dissemination and tracking of Corporate Actions (ex coupons) to sales team and clients.
- Continuously reviews and recommends improvements in fixed income order process.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or at least 3 years of relevant fixed income industry experience.
- Preference to have regulatory certifications ( SEC Fixed Income, BAP Treasury Certification Program, etc.)
- Experience using Bloomberg or similar platforms for fixed income trade execution.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, fixed income products, wealth management, and applicable local regulations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently.
