Job Description

Fixed Assets Count Reconciliation

  • Prepares annual inventory reconciliation report for Teleperformance sites
  • Developing inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances
  • Generate and prepare FA register per site as input to the physical count process
  • Monitoring inventory transactions
  • Reconcile count to book balance (FA register/Fixed Asset Module)
  • Prepare adjusting journal entries as needed (asset transactions)
  • Update assets details in the accounting system Fixed Asset Module (FAR)
  • Consolidation of Physical Inventory Count Reconciliation binder for all sites
  • Prepare exception report for ICQ
  • Assist in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory

II. Fixed Assets Accounting

  • Assist in the documentation and recording of fixed assets movements (acquisitions, transfers, disposals and adjustments
  • Monitor transfers of fixed assets between sites to ensure they are properly authorized and adequately covered by documents
  • Ensure all new fixed asset acquisitions are tagged on a timely basis and supported documents are forwarded to Fixed Assets Accounting
  • Assist in computation and recording of monthly depreciation expense of fixed assets
  • Provide support during audit to establish compliance to defined policies and procedures

III. Others

  • Special projects as required
  • Performs other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time

Positions on this level are fully proficient in executing established standards. Works independently within set frames and follows set course. Has a knowledge base typically acquired from a professional/university degree and approximately 1-2 years of practical professional experience in a particular area. Develops own knowledge, shares best practice and develops relevant/appropriate solutions. Positions at this level are expected to continuously improve the day-to-day activities/processes.

Can be a formal team leader of more junior co-workers and may set day-to-day operational objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years general accounting work experience

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficient in MS Excel / MS Office
  • Well versed with computerized accounting system

SKILLS:

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Flexible and with an ability to adapt easily to organizational changes
