Job Summary:
The Fixed Asset Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of company-owned fixed assets, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. This role leads a team of Fixed Asset Associates and coordinates closely with Finance, Warehouse, IT, and Operations to implement asset management best practices. The incumbent will serve as the process owner for asset-related workflows and reporting within Microsoft D365 and Acumatica systems.

- Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees Fixed Asset Lifecycle Management:
- Supervise the acquisition, tagging, tracking, transfer, maintenance, and disposal of fixed assets.
- Ensure asset data is accurately captured, updated, and reconciled in the system.
- Approve asset movement requests and monitor policy compliance.
- Leads the Fixed Asset Team:
- Supervise and guide Fixed Asset Associates in their daily tasks and assignments.
- Monitor workload distribution and audit schedules.
- Provide training, performance feedback, and development opportunities for asset team members.
- Ensures Policy and Audit Compliance:
- Enforce adherence to asset management policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to fixed assets.
- Review audit findings and implement corrective actions where necessary. Coordinates Interdepartmental Asset Activities:
- Collaborate with Accounting, Warehouse, IT, and Business Units to streamline asset-related workflows.
- Approve interdepartmental asset transfers and oversee location/custodian updates.
- Ensure timely and documented communication of asset movements. Manages System Integrity and Reporting:
- Oversee fixed asset data integrity in Microsoft D365 and Acumatica.
- Review and validate asset depreciation schedules, retirements, and adjustments.
- Generate and analyze fixed asset reports for management review and audit support. Leads Continuous Process Improvement:
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in asset lifecycle processes and recommend improvements.
- Standardize asset audit procedures and lifecycle documentation.
- Drive automation initiatives and system enhancements in coordination with IT.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting or asset management, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft D365 and Acumatica systems.
- Deep understanding of fixed asset accounting principles, depreciation, and audit practices.
- Proven ability to lead a team, manage cross-functional coordination, and uphold internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with asset tagging, scanning tools, and mobile audit applications is a plus.
