Role Description The Fixed Asset Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila, responsible for overseeing the company's fixed assets across multiple outlets. This role manages the complete fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisition, tagging, tracking, depreciation, transfers, and disposals, ensuring accurate and timely recording in the general ledger.

The Fixed Asset Manager prepares and reviews journal entries related to fixed assets, reconciles asset records with accounting data, and supports monthly and annual closing activities. The role also conducts regular asset inventories, coordinates with operations and finance teams on asset-related issues, and helps develop policies and controls to safeguard company property. In addition, the Fixed Asset Manager provides analytical reports on asset utilization, supports audits, and contributes to process improvements in asset management and financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Fixed Asset Management and Fixed Assets skills, including asset tracking, documentation, and lifecycle oversight.
  • Candidates should possess solid Finance and Journal Entries (Accounting) skills, with experience in general ledger posting, reconciliations, and financial closing processes.
  • Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret asset data, identify variances, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams; experience in a multi-branch or retail environment is an advantage.
