Fixed Asset Analyst

The Fixed Asset Analyst is responsible for the accurate recording, maintenance, and reconciliation of fixed asset and IFRS 16 lease transactions within the RTR function. The role covers asset creation, disposal, reinstatement, depreciation runs, and balance sheet reconciliations. The analyst operates under the supervision of the Fixed Asset Manager and Senior Analyst, ensuring all asset transactions are processed correctly in the ERP and that the fixed asset register is maintained to audit-ready standards.

This role will also support the process improvements initiatives of that will be designed for the Manila Finance Shared Service Center.

What you will be doing:

• Accounting Execution
• Fixed Asset Processing
• Create and capitalise new assets in the ERP fixed asset sub-ledger following the asset capitalisation policy.
• Process asset amendments, disposals, and reinstatements in accordance with approved requests.
• IFRS 16: Process IFRS 16 lease transactions in the lease sub-ledger under guidance.
• Month-end close: Execute monthly depreciation runs under Senior Analyst review.
• Account Reconciliation: Prepare fixed asset reconciliations and support IFRS 16 reconciliation inputs, investigating and documenting all differences.
• Query Resolution: Respond to helpdesk queries related to fixed assets and IFRS 16; escalate complex items to the Senior Analyst.
• Compliance and Reporting

-Audit Support: Support audit and regulatory engagements with fixed asset evidence and schedules.

-Reporting: Provide data inputs for management reporting and regulatory submissions as directed.

-Controls & Documentation

• Maintain audit-quality working papers for all fixed asset / IFRS 16 journal entries and reconciliations.
• Participate in process reviews, control assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reconciliation efficiency and strengthen financial controls.
• Adhere to SOD controls; follow the maker-checker process for all ERP postings.
• Escalate complex or non-standard revenue transactions to the Senior Analyst.

-Stakeholder management

-Serve as the first point of contact for routine fixed asset and IFRS 16 queries from internal teams.

-Provide updates on the status of asset, lease, reconciliations, and outstanding issues.

-Escalate complex accounting issues, policy questions, unresolved items, non-standard asset transactions and capitalisation decisions to the Senior Analyst.

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or finance operations role preferably within a Shared Service Centre or Finance department.
• Understanding of fixed asset accounting principles from study or work experience.
• Exposure to ERP fixed asset modules preferred.
• Preferably with experience with IFRS 16 lease accounting.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation (VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, data validation).
• Experience in a gaming, payments, or fintech environment preferred.
