Job Summary
The Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, and fitting mechanical parts, equipment, and structures according to specifications and technical drawings. The role ensures that components are properly aligned, securely fitted, and meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit mechanical parts, components, and equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for fitting and assembly.
- Ensure proper alignment and installation of parts and structures.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments properly.
- Follow company safety procedures and workplace regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Assist other production or fabrication tasks when required.
Qualifications
- At least High School Graduate or Vocational Course in Mechanical Technology or related field.
- With experience in mechanical fitting, fabrication, or assembly.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in the use of hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Responsible, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
Working Schedule
- Monday to Saturday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
