Role Description The Fitness Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Taguig. The Fitness Trainer will design and deliver fitness programs tailored to the needs and goals of employees or designated participants, incorporating safe and effective exercise techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual and group training sessions, demonstrating proper use of equipment, and monitoring participant performance and safety. The role also involves assessing fitness levels, tracking progress, and providing feedback, motivation, and wellness guidance to support healthy lifestyles. The Fitness Trainer will collaborate with management and HR to align fitness activities with company wellness initiatives, maintain clean and organized workout areas, and uphold health and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of exercise science, fitness assessment, and program design, with the ability to tailor workouts to diverse fitness levels and goals.
  • Proficiency in demonstrating proper exercise form, injury prevention techniques, and safe use of fitness equipment.
  • Effective communication, coaching, and motivational skills to guide individuals and groups in a professional and inclusive manner.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to schedule sessions, track progress, and manage multiple participants or groups.
  • Relevant fitness certifications (e.g., personal training, group fitness) and current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Experience as a fitness trainer, coach, or wellness instructor, ideally in a corporate, hospitality, or wellness setting.
  • Ability to work on-site in Taguig, maintain a professional appearance, and model a healthy, active lifestyle.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field is an advantage.
