Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee complex valuation engagements involving businesses, intangible assets, financial instruments, equity, debt, derivatives, and options for M&A, litigation support, financial reporting, restructuring, tax, and financial advisory purposes.
  • Provide technical leadership in developing, reviewing, and enhancing advanced financial and valuation models, including validation of key assumptions, forecasts, and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable valuation standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality control processes.
  • Drive business development initiatives, including client pitches, proposal development, and sector-specific growth strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on valuation and financial matters.
  • Lead, supervise, coach, and mentor team members while promoting technical excellence and professional development.
  • Establish strong collaboration with onshore and regional teams to drive business outcomes and strengthen cross-border integration.
  • Partner with senior leadership and team members on client management, practice development, and business development initiatives.
  • Represent the organization in relevant industry forums, client events, and thought leadership initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA/CA, CFA, FRM, or progress toward relevant certification is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant valuation experience, preferably within an accounting, investment banking, consulting, or professional services environment, with exposure to complex valuation engagements.
  • Strong expertise in business valuation and intangible asset valuation, with a solid understanding of valuation methodologies such as DCF, market multiples, precedent transactions, and option pricing.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation modeling skills.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and real estate valuation is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and report-writing skills, with a strong understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple engagements, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with local, regional, and international teams.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills; additional language skills are an advantage.
