You will work closely with our Canada-based client, owning underwriting analysis, documentation review, and risk assessment to keep loan processing efficient and credit decisions sound. • Prepare credit summaries, underwriting memos, and clear loan recommendations
  • Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lending policies
  • Support the structuring of loan terms, pricing, and risk-mitigation strategies
  • Evaluate collateral as part of the credit file, including insurance-based assets where applicable (e.g., policy value and premium structures)
  • Coordinate with Canada-based advisors, brokers, and internal teams
  • Help ensure compliance with applicable Canadian lending standards and regulations
  • Maintain organized records and support tracking of the loan pipeline and approvals
  • Assist with portfolio monitoring and flag potential risk exposure

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in financial underwriting, credit analysis, or loan processing
  • Strong ability to analyze financial statements, credit profiles, and lending structures
  • High financial literacy and sound, well-reasoned credit judgment
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, analytical approach
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Availability for meaningful daily overlap with Toronto business hours (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern Time)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in mortgage underwriting, private lending, or asset-based lending
  • Exposure to insurance-based lending or structured finance
  • Familiarity with high-net-worth clients or complex financing structures
  • Experience working with North American or international clients
  • CPA, CFA, or a relevant professional certification

Benefits

  • Free lunch meal, fruits, snacks, and drinks (if you are in an onsite shift)
  • Onsite gym with a free professional instructor
  • Weekly fitness activity and an annual fitness challenge where you can win up to 70,000 PHP
  • Weekly engagement activities with prizes that are up to 3,000 PHP
  • Free upskilling academy to improve your performance and skillset
  • State-of-the-art facilities from toilets to your workstation
