Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of Financial Controllers (Associate and Senior Associate), ensuring daily tasks and projects are completed accurately and on time.
- Build strong relationships with the client.
- Train new team members on processes, procedures, and software systems.
- Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline Financial Reporting processes.
- Maintain schedules and assignments, ensuring workload distribution is balanced and deadlines are met.
- Resolve complex issues or escalated inquiries from team members, providing guidance and solutions as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments or teams to enhance (functional / departmental) processes and cross-functional efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with data integrity and security policies, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Prepare regular reports on team performance metrics, productivity, and quality standards.
Job Requirements and Credentials:
- Graduate of Accounting, Financial Management or have a business degree with 12 units of accounting. CPA certification is a major plus.
- 2-3 years experience in handling Financial Reporting with at least 1-2 years supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite with Intermediate Excel skills. (Can use the functions vlookup, if, and, or, sumif and pivot tables)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership qualities with a positive and motivational approach to managing a team.
