Managing GL Team & accountants to ensure timely delivery of financial reports and adherence to quality standards
Compiling financial reports for external and internal stakeholders
Ensuring reports comply with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement
Ensure stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors are provided with information for timely review and ensure appropriate action is taken from the feedback received
Coordinating and managing audits by external auditors and ensuring the audit process runs smoothly
Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Evaluating, developing, and administering accounting systems/new ERP and practices that comply with GAAP, and bank regulatory requirements
Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting across the organization
Ad hoc support for related accounting/reporting inquiries, finance, tax, and treasury.
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
Must have at least 5 years solid experience in Accounting
Knowledgeable in all facets of Accounting (GL, AP, AR, and Tax)
