The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for managing the entire financial reporting process within the organization. The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for preparation and distribution of various internal financial statements to management, maintenance of the organization's general ledger, and ensuring that all transactions and documentation complies with regulatory standards. This position collaborates with the Accounting Manager and helps the team in terms of financial reporting to ensure effective, accurate and compliant reporting.
About the Role
Facilitate the entire process of preparing important reports and earnings statements by gathering and documenting data and reviewing reports for regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy.
- Manage monthly closing process, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts.
- Standardize the reporting process while also working to improve and streamline it.
- Prepare and review all quarterly statements and filings.
- Research and resolve accounting issues including evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements to ensure US GAAP and IAS compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant
Required Skills
- Financial reporting expertise
- 3-5 years experience in the similar role/capacity
- Experience in a finance or accounting environment
- Strong understanding of SEC reporting principles
- Knowledgeable in using accounting system(s) i.e. NAV and cloud-based ERPs
- Proficient in MS Excel (Advanced) and other MS office tools
Preferred Skills
- Preferably with experience in a shared service environment which covers one or more of the following industries: Food and Beverage, Restaurant chain, and Contract-based services.
