Job Description:
1. Building and Maintaining Financial Models:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering and organizing historical financial data (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements), operational data, and market information
- Assumption Development: Identifying and validating key variables and assumptions that drive the model's projections (e.g., revenue growth rates, cost structures, capital expenditures, tax rates, discount rates).
- Model Construction: Designing and developing complex financial models, typically in Excel or other spreadsheet software, that integrate various financial statements and schedules (e.g., depreciation, debt, working capital)
- Ensuring Accuracy and Robustness: Meticulously checking models for errors, inconsistencies, and ensuring they accurately reflect the business's operational complexities. This includes using best practices for model design and structure.
- Flexibility and Scalability: Designing models that are flexible enough to accommodate changes in assumptions, scenarios, and business circumstances, and can be scaled for different analyses.
2. Financial Analysis and Forecasting:
- Financial Projections: Forecasting future financial performance (revenues, expenses, profits, cash flows) over specific periods (e.g., 3-10 years) based on developed assumptions.
- Valuation: Determining the value of a business, project, or asset using various valuation techniques like Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (trading comps), and precedent transactions
- Scenario and Sensitivity Analysis: Testing different hypothetical scenarios (e.g., best-case, worst-case, base-case) and assessing their impact on financial outcomes. This helps in understanding risks and opportunities.
- Investment Analysis: Evaluating potential investments, projects, or acquisitions by calculating key financial metrics like Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Return on Investment (ROl), and Net Present Value (NPV).
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting with annual budgeting, financial planning, and long-term strategic planning by providing data-driven forecasts and resource allocation insights.
Qualifications:
- B.S Accountancy; BS Management Accountant;
- 5-7 years experience in Financial Planning Analysis and Budget or in any of related field.
- Can handle accounting software, (Oracle ), knowledgeable with Data Analysis, and Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power BI and Powerpoint)
