Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Reporting Analyst - Record to Report, based in Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone. The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards. The role includes managing record-to-report activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end and year-end closing processes. The analyst will investigate variances, provide explanations to management, and support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities with accurate data and analysis. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining documentation for audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls, collaborating with cross-functional teams (including Finance, Operations, and IT), and contributing to process improvements and automation within the Record to Report function.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with experience in Financial Reporting and Financial Statements preparation and review.
- Proven Financial Analysis and Analytical Skills, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and interpretation of financial data for decision-making.
- Knowledge of Record to Report processes, including general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) or progress toward certification is an advantage.
- Good understanding of relevant accounting standards and principles (e.g., IFRS or US GAAP) and internal control frameworks.
