Financial Reporting Analyst

The Financial Reporting Analyst plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of financial data. This role is responsible for preparing reports, assisting in financial modeling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business requirements with reporting outputs.

• Manage, clean, and validate financial and operational data to ensure accuracy and reliability for reporting purposes
• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models for various business units and initiatives identified by management
• Coordinate with different departments to understand business needs and translate them into data and reporting requirements
• Prepare and present financial and operational performance reports based on agreed-upon metrics and KPIs
• Support the Financial Reporting Head in creating ad hoc reports, templates, and analysis as required by managemen
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data efficiency, and accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• At least 2–3 years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling techniques
• Experience working with large datasets and data cleaning processes
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Experience with reporting tools or systems
• Background in retail, FMCG, or related industries is an advantage
