Job Description

he FP&A Financial Reporting & Analytics Officer is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports that support strategic planning and decision-making. The role focuses on consolidating and validating financial data, building scalable reporting and analytics tools, and translating performance trends into clear, actionable insights. Working closely with FP&A and Controllership leaders, the position strengthens financial transparency and drives business performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial performance reports with variance analysis, commentary, and key performance metrics.
  • Build, refine, and automate financial reporting, dashboards, and models using Excel, Power BI, and other analytics platforms to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles by consolidating data, conducting trend analysis, and ensuring data readiness and completeness.
  • Validate and reconcile financial data across systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment in all reports.
  • Provide descriptive and diagnostic financial insights in response to requests from FP&A leaders and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity, relevance, and high analytical quality.

Qualifications

The role requires at least three to five years of relevant finance experience, preferably in FP&A, financial reporting, analytics, or finance strategy roles. A CPA or CFA certification is preferred but not required.

The candidate must have a strong foundation in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting, combined with solid commercial acumen and a strategic mindset. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and other data visualization or analytics tools is essential, along with working knowledge of basic statistical and analytical techniques such as scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis.

Success in this role also requires excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, structured insights for senior stakeholders. The candidate should be comfortable partnering across teams, influencing without formal authority, and operating effectively as an individual contributor in a fast-paced finance environment.
