Financial Reporting Accountant

Our client is a well-established international energy company with a strong presence across Asia. They are looking for an experienced accounting professional to join their regional finance team in Singapore.

This is a broad role with exposure to financial reporting, statutory compliance, group consolidation, budgeting and forecasting across Singapore and regional entities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, auditors and business teams, supporting both day-to-day finance matters and wider reporting requirements across the region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for Singapore entities
• Handle quarterly group consolidation and reporting, including joint-venture entities
• Prepare statutory accounts, coordinate audits and support GST and corporate tax submissions
• Produce APAC consolidated management reports, with budget-versus-actual and forecast analysis
• Support the annual budget process, rolling forecasts and five-year planning

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy with 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting and tax compliance
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Comfortable working across multiple entities and regional stakeholders
• Able to manage competing reporting deadlines, particularly during month-end and quarter-end periods
• Good communication skills and confidence working with auditors, tax advisers and business teams
