Job Description:
- Provide strategic and timely financial advice, leadership and recommendations on financial issues affecting the line of business, including assisting the ASEAN BU SL leadership team on endeavours that require financial due diligence and modelling processes.
- Participate in the development of the Service Line's business plans and programs including budgets, forecasts and Market Leadership Plans.
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, including global outlooks, for the ASEAN BU SL to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor, track and report financial results against budgets, goals and historical performance, and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Direct and lead the ASEAN BU SL finance team to ensure effective and efficient support function.
- Participate in the strategic projects, not limited to the part of business that you support.
- Adopt and drive technology transformation to achieve cost avoidance/ savings and improve user experience.
- Support use of standard tools and centrally produced reports, thereby eliminating or minimising time spent on report production in Service Line.
- Work with the Service Line Markets Leader to keep abreast of current and pipeline sales and revenue and to appropriately link in with forward planning and forecasting.
- Work closely with People, Operations and Resource Management teams to deliver on workforce modelling in conjunction with financial planning and forecasting and analyses.
Team Management:
- Mentor and develop people, including Management Accountants (direct reports as the team evolves) and the broader Finance community.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture
- Lead, motivate, coach, mentor and manage a team to achieve performance targets and business objectives
- Act as a key link between senior leadership and team members, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and consistent delivery of results
We're looking for candidates with the following experience and attributes:
- Bachelor's Degree and a CPA or equivalent.
- At least 10 years experience in finance related roles and at least 5 years in a management role.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in proactive strategic analyses and financial modelling.
- Proven problem-solving skills and experience.
- Willingness to embrace new challenges, proactive approach to learn, growth mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of applications (Excel, PowerApp), Data Analytics tools and SAP is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills as well as English language skill.
