Job Description

The Role:

Support financial planning and analysis processes by preparing budgets, forecasts, and reports accurately and on time. Guide junior staff in compiling financial data and provide actionable insights to support managerial decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure FP&A outputs align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops departmental forecasts, analyzes variances, and leads budget planning with team leads.
  • Conducts comprehensive variance analysis by evaluating financial performance drivers, interpreting operational impacts, and providing data-driven recommendations that improve cost efficiency and business performance outcomes.
  • Analyzes complex financial reports and management dashboards to identify trends, assess operational performance, and recommend reporting enhancements that improve decision-making quality and reporting efficiency.
  • Evaluates operational cost structures and resource utilization patterns to identify inefficiencies, recommend process improvements, and support profitability enhancement initiatives across business functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Coursework or specialization in financial analysis, business analytics, or corporate finance is advantageous.
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or FP&A in BPO, shared services, or corporate environments.
  • Ability to prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts accurately and on time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools, with basic understanding of data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience in analyzing financial performance metrics to support managerial decision-making.
  • Ability to guide or assist junior staff in completing FP&A tasks and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration to gather operational data and provide insights.
  • Basic knowledge of process improvement, financial systems, and analytics tools for reporting and decision support.
