Job Summary:

Primarily supports the FP&A Manager in conducting financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities that will help Management in making informed decisions and optimize financial performance. The FP&A Officer is expected to have strong analytical skills, attention to details, and the ability to interpret and transform financial data into useful financial information.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares the budget utilization report comparing operational and administrative budgets to actual results on a weekly and monthly basis identifying areas of concern
  • Assists various departments with completing yearly budget requests and justifications, and consolidates Company Financial and Operating budgets for Management and Board of Directors approval
  • Monitors budget versus actual figures and works with department heads to develop strategies to maximize budget efficiencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to, Operations Team and Technology Team, to understand business drivers and align financial analysis with overall corporate objectives
  • Reviews purchase requisitions including CAPEX, verifying if the budget is sufficient and proper charge codes are identified and used
  • Works with FP&A Manager to review and analyze budget performance to include a review of actual and budgeted expenses
  • Develops profit and loss segmental reports and financial models, and provides financial insights and recommendations to support business planning and decision-making of Department Heads and Management
  • Extracts and analyses data in the NAV system
  • Perform other tasks as designated by the FP&A Manager

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience, preferably in the same capacity/position
  • BSBA Graduate
  • Proven working experience in finance or similar role in a corporate setting
  • Working knowledge on using computerized Accounting Systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex financial data
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity
  • Can work under pressure - independently and collaboratively
  • With good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using MS Applications, specifically MS Excel, and Powerpoint

Good to have:

  • CPA/CMA Certified
  • Working experience in Corporate Finance Department
  • Knowledgeable in using NAV software
