The Medical City Iloilo is seeking a qualified Financial Planning Analyst (FPA) who will play a vital role in supporting the organization's financial health through strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This position is responsible for providing accurate financial insights, evaluating business performance, and assisting management in making data-driven decisions that contribute to the achievement of organizational goals while maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and operational excellence.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare, analyze, and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate operational performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
- Support business units in budget preparation, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions.
- Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide timely insights on business performance.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand financial requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and cost-saving opportunities across departments.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data and reports.
- Assist in financial feasibility studies, capital expenditure evaluations, and strategic projects.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting, budgeting, and planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Finance, or any related business course; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage.
- Preferably an Accountant with relevant experience as a Financial Planning Analyst (FPA) or in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
- With at least two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, management accounting, or corporate finance.
- Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting or ERP systems; knowledge of Power BI or similar analytical tools is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and business performance analysis.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
