Job Description

The Medical City Iloilo is seeking a qualified Financial Planning Analyst (FPA) Professional who will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and supporting the hospital's financial health. This position is designed to ensure that financial insights, forecasts, and analyses are accurate, strategic, and aligned with the institution's commitment to excellence, sustainability, and organizational growth.

What's the Role All About

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic and operational planning.
  • Monitor financial performance against targets and provide timely variance analyses with actionable recommendations.
  • Assist in developing annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and departmental financial targets.
  • Conduct cost analysis, revenue analysis, and profitability studies to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support resource planning and optimization.
  • Assist in developing financial models to assess new programs, projects, and service lines.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial data by coordinating with Accounting and other relevant units.
  • Maintain organized, complete, and audit-ready financial documentation and reports.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to strengthen financial systems, efficiency, and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or any related business course.
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), but non-CPAs with strong analytical experience are welcome.
  • At least two (2) year of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting, or related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and data interpretation.
  • Experience in hospital finance or corporate budgeting is an advantage but not required.
  • Willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment dedicated to service excellence.
