About The Role
As a
Financial Planning and Division Head, you will be accountable to the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Management for the strategic planning, business review and annual budgeting efforts of the Bank. You will monitor performance against plans and automation of manual processes and management reports by leveraging the Oracle systems. You will also continuously build up team to become full fledge finance business partners based on the target operating model and serves as the Secretary for the Finance Committee and ALCO.
How You'll Contribute
- Ensures timeliness and accuracy of management information reports and budget process. Monitors the performance of the Bank against plans and competitive benchmarks.
- Supports the development of strategies and frameworks to improve financial and commercial literacy across the wider organization.
- Coordinates the Business Reviews as venues for monitoring profit performance and productivity improvements for the Bank's responsibility centers.
- Supervises the research effort for the Bank and its subsidiaries, specifically in terms of Analysis of Competitors financial performance as well as special studies as may be assigned from time to time.
- Prepares and documents the Capital Management Plan and submission of ICAAP to the regulators
- Leads the development and maintenance of Oracle systems changes, updates, and data governance initiatives. Adherence with the KOPs as applicable.
- Integrates data from various sources to prepare the profitability reports of assigned group/s
- Mentors and coaches staff for their training and professional development and for the improvement of Department output
- Builds a collaborative culture across the team that encourages innovation for persistent improvement
What We're Looking For
- Post-Graduate Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- More than 10 years of relevant experience in Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, or related industries
- Strong background in Financial, Data, and Process Analysis
- Experience in Strategy Development and Corporate Planning
- Proficient in Management Reporting and Business Partnering
- Knowledgeable in Oracle Management Reporting tools or equivalent reporting platforms
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting reports to Senior Management and Board Members
- Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Proven people management and leadership capabilities
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across functions
- Strong understanding of Capital Management principles and practices
- Project Management experience is an advantage
- Financial Reporting experience is an advantage
