Financial Operations Analyst

Overview: A Financial Operations Analyst have deep knowledge in settlement and reconciliation process and systems of a fintech and digital banking transactions. They are excellent in preparing reconciliation reports and documentations.

What you will be doing:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of financial transactions, ensuring alignment with internal systems, bank statements, and partner reports.
• Reconcile money movements, including payments received and settlements with partners, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Compare transaction data across multiple sources (e.g., bank statements, partner reports, CMS, SAP) to identify discrepancies and variances.
• Prepare reconciliation reports, escalate identified variances, and support investigation and resolution within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Technology, Product, Customer Support) to assist in resolving transaction discrepancies and reconciliation issues.
• Support the monitoring of transaction trends and assist in identifying inconsistencies or irregularities.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new products and system enhancements to validate transaction accuracy and completeness.
• Provide feedback on system issues and suggest improvements to enhance reconciliation processes.
• Document reconciliation procedures and ensure proper maintenance of process documentation.
• Support ongoing process improvements and assist in initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in the implementation of automation tools and solutions to reduce manual effort in reconciliation activities.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial settlements within banking, payments, or fintech, with knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong Settlement and Reconciliations background.
• Good in oral and written communication.
• High sense of responsibility and high attention to detail.
• Excellent in MS office/MS Excel.
• Knowledge in SAP is an advantage.
