You will work with corporate leaders and regional P&C teams to implement talent strategies, drive organizational initiatives, and ensure effective delivery of HR programs across Markets.
About the role:
The Finance Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the organization's finance function, ensuring financial integrity, strong governance, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth. The role is accountable for the end-to-end management of Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting, Revenue Finance, Treasury, Tax, Internal Controls, and Finance Transformation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial planning, strong cash management, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
The Finance Director serves as a strategic business partner to Executive Management by providing financial insights that drive profitable growth, optimize working capital, strengthen financial governance, and support informed business decisions. The role works closely with Business Leaders, Sales, Delivery, Human Resources, Legal, Treasury, and Corporate Functions to align financial strategies with business objectives and ensure the organization achieves its financial and operational goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Strategy & Business Partnership
- Partner with the CFO and Executive Leadership Team in developing and executing the organization's financial strategy.
- Provide financial guidance to support strategic initiatives, investments, acquisitions, and commercial decisions.
- Drive financial discipline and accountability across business units.
- Lead financial evaluation of business opportunities and investment proposals.
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management
- Oversee the annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning process.
- Ensure timely preparation of management reports, forecasts, and financial performance analyses.
- Monitor business performance against financial targets and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead financial modeling, scenario planning, and profitability analysis.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory regulations, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Review significant accounting treatments and financial disclosures.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing process in partnership with the Financial Reporting team.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Oversee treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.
- Drive initiatives to optimize working capital through effective management of receivables, payables, and cash.
- Monitor funding requirements and financial risks.
- Partner with Treasury to improve cash conversion and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
Revenue & Project Financial Oversight
- Provide executive oversight of revenue recognition, project profitability, billing governance, and revenue operations.
- Review project financial performance, margin trends, and work-at-risk exposure.
- Ensure effective governance over revenue realization and project financial controls.
- Support commercial decision-making through financial analysis of customer engagements and projects.
Governance, Risk & Internal Controls
- Strengthen the organization's internal control environment and financial governance framework.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Delegation of Authority, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Promote accountability, transparency, and sound financial stewardship across the organization.
Finance Transformation & Process Improvement
- Lead finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and automation.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and reporting.
- Oversee optimization of SAP, HubSpot, reporting platforms, and other finance systems.
- Promote data integrity, standardization, and digitalization across the finance organization.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution:
- Executive Leadership: financial strategy and business performance.
- Business Units & Delivery: operational and financial performance.
- Sales & Commercial: pricing, business cases, and commercial governance.
- Revenue Finance: revenue recognition, billing, and project profitability.
- Financial Reporting & Tax: statutory reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Treasury: cash management and working capital optimization.
- Human Resources: workforce planning and people cost management.
- Legal: commercial contracts and financial risk management.
Reporting & Insights
- Provide Executive Management with financial performance analysis, business insights, forecast updates, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead monthly financial performance reviews and executive reporting.
- Develop dashboards covering revenue, profitability, cash flow, working capital, forecast accuracy, and key financial KPIs.
Leadership & People Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance organization.
- Coach and mentor finance leaders to strengthen technical and leadership capabilities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Build organizational capability in finance business partnering, commercial finance, and financial management.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA is required.
- MBA, CMA, or other postgraduate finance qualifications are an advantage.
Relevant Experience
- 12–15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Experience leading Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting, Treasury, Revenue Finance, Tax, and Finance Operations.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing finance teams.
- Demonstrated experience in finance transformation, business partnering, and organizational change.
- Experience supporting executive leadership and Board-level financial reporting is highly preferred.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of IFRS, financial reporting standards, treasury, taxation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in financial planning, business partnering, pricing, and investment analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP), financial planning tools, CRM platforms, and reporting solutions.
- Strong process improvement mindset with the ability to drive automation, governance, and operational efficiency.
