About The Role
We're looking for a Financial Crime Risk Officer who will help strengthen the Bank's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial crime compliance framework. This role is responsible for coordinating with regulators, monitoring compliance with AML regulations, supporting investigations, maintaining watchlists, and ensuring the timely implementation of regulatory requirements and risk management controls.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies, correspondent banks, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submission of AML-related requests, inquiries, and compliance requirements.
- Support AML investigations, compliance testing, and implementation of regulatory directives, including freeze orders, suspicious transaction matters, and customer due diligence activities.
- Monitor and update AML watchlists, adverse media databases, regulatory advisories, and high-risk customer information to support effective risk management.
- Conduct AML training, provide guidance on AML policies and procedures, and assist business units with compliance-related concerns and regulatory requirements.
- Support AML governance activities by preparing reports, conducting gap analyses, monitoring action plans, and providing secretariat support for AML-related committees.
