Role Description The Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Makati, responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. This role manages the preparation and analysis of financial statements, monitors cash flow, and supports budgeting and forecasting activities. The Financial Controller supervises accounting processes, maintains internal controls, and ensures compliance with local regulations and company policies. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, monitoring expense allocations, and preparing management reports to support strategic decision-making. The role collaborates with leadership and operational teams across multiple facilities to optimize financial performance, manage risks, and support ongoing expansion initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret results for management.
- Candidates should possess solid Accounting and Finance skills, including knowledge of accounting standards, budgeting, and cost control.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, with the capability to identify trends, assess risks, and support data-driven decisions.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are an advantage.
- Experience in a controller or senior accounting role, ideally within multi-site or service-oriented businesses.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools, and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site in Makati, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong ethical standards, understanding of local tax and regulatory requirements, and commitment to continuous improvement.
