Position : Financial Controller
Work Hours (Client) : M-F 40 hours/week, 7 AM- 3 PM, PST Overlap
Pay Range : $1000 - $1500 USD / month(varies based on skill set and experience level)
Location of Search : Philippines
Work Location : REMOTE

Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Financial Controller to join our management team. This role will be instrumental in managing key financial functions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the company's growth. While there are no direct reports, this position requires a high level of independence, accountability, and strong work ethic.
Duties And Responsibilities
Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred (ideally)
Experience: Proven experience (3- 5+ years) in financial management, accounting, or controlling roles.

- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Conduct cash flow analysis to ensure liquidity and financial stability
- Support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) initiatives, including budgeting and forecasting
- Collaborate with management to provide actionable financial insights
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
- Utilize Stride Retail (Odoo) if applicable

Experience: Proven experience (3- 5+ years) in financial management, accounting, or controlling roles.
- Strong in FP&A / financial analysis
- QuickBooks experience required; Stride Retail (Odoo) knowledge is a plus
- U.S. market experience preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align financial management with company goals.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
