Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a telecommunications and IT Support company. Our respected client is seeking a Finance Controller who will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, and strategic decision-making. The office is in Alabang, Muntinlupa, with onsite work arrangement.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead, deploy, and oversee the performance of the financial and accounting team, as well as coordinate with counterparts across departments, ensuring proper allocation and delegation of tasks and responsibilities.
- Coordinate system-wide accounting and financial reporting processes, including the timely and accurate closing of books, to meet internal and external reporting deadlines.
- Lead initiatives to enhance accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring that system and platform implementations align with current business and operational requirements and comply with applicable accounting standards.
- Collaborate with management to address financial issues and drive continuous improvement across the Company's finance function, ensuring strong entity-level controls and data integrity.
- Review and validate team outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies.
- Develop, monitor, and support competency assessments for team members and cross-functional departments to promote alignment with individual, departmental, and group-wide goals and objectives.
- Contribute to group-wide and company-wide development plans by identifying appropriate training, learning opportunities, and coaching initiatives to enhance individual and organizational capabilities.
- Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing financial insights to strategic planning and reviews; preparing and executing action plans; implementing productivity and quality standards; resolving issues; completing audits; identifying trends; and driving system and process improvements.
- Provide guidance to other departments by interpreting accounting policies and offering recommendations to address operational and financial matters.
- Safeguard organizational value by maintaining strict confidentiality of financial and sensitive information.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in financial controlling.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. CPA is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach toward business issues.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Willing to work onsite
